Why Static Sites Beat WordPress
WordPress can run a serious site. It still asks a marketing website to carry a CMS, a theme, and a plugin economy it often does not need.
What WordPress adds to a simple site
A typical WordPress marketing site renders through PHP, a database, a theme, and plugins for forms, SEO, caching, security, and the page builder itself. Each of those can be fine alone. Together they are a maintenance job.
A static build does that rendering once. The visitor receives HTML. Forms and other actions go to a small function, not through the same stack that paints the menu.
Not every WordPress site is slow
A carefully hosted, carefully plugin-limited WordPress site can be fast. Many client sites are not that site. They inherited a theme, a builder, and years of plugins nobody wants to remove.
We do not sell the cartoon version. We compare the architecture you would actually keep paying for.
Migration keeps the useful parts
Leaving WordPress should preserve URLs, metadata, images, and content that already ranks or already answers customers. The point is to retire the runtime, not to throw away the archive.
A redirect map and a content inventory are part of the project, not an afterthought.
